  • Thank you to members and staff for participating in the Charter Renewal Interview

Governance Committee Work

  • Employee Contracts: Head of Schools: there is currently a 30-day notification; what changes are warranted? Currently non-renewal/at-will. Conversation about pros and cons current contract versus possible revised contract. Ivy will retain the existing contract. Consider a retention bonus.
  • Salary Schedules: a work in progress; initially was about being competitive; now about equity; provides step increase every two years after first for years; includes increases for degrees and certification. Robust conversation about the salary schedules.
  • Budget Amendments: tabled to finance committee.
  • CPF Results/SCSC Monitoring Response: Concerns were shared with committee; must complete training on February 15, 2022; need a staff member to handle all Open Records requests; Code of Conduct and expulsion; details are uploaded to the drive for a total of five findings and one adverse practices. Rectifying all matters.
  • School Calendar: 65% of the vote for calendar 1 (calendar 2 18%; calendar 3; 16%)
  • Board Training Update: Remaining training opportunities for the year. Reimbursements are scheduled to be issued to Ivy February 9, 2022.
