Academic Sessions 20 minutes

The school leader reports on the status of the school.

Dr. Nichols provided data for summer retest scores for the 3rd, 5th and 8th grade students. The data is embargoed by the state and will be released by July 26th. Preliminary data was provided via google docs for board members.

Dr. Nichols presented the new Brand Options by Truth in Advertising. Option 1 is the recommendation for the informal logo and Option 4 is the recommendation for the formal logo.

Mr. Nelson, had questions and possible concerns with the design of the logo He questioned the reasoning for the rebranding and recommended a discuss with a LEADright representative.

Finance Session 20 minutes

Chief Financial Officer reports on the status of the school’s financials

Slate of Officers, Communication Protocol, voting for the upcoming meeting and transition of Board Chair was discussed.
