Welcome and Call to Order
The meeting will be called to order by the Academic Committee Chair (Kanethia Henderson) at 6:20 p.m.
Members included: Dr. Nichols (Head of Schools), Dr. Epps (Board Vice Chair) and Ms. Henderson (Board Secretary).
Academic Work Session
Comprehensive Performance Framework was reviewed and discussed by the committee
Academic data review: iReady scores were presented along with the attendance for scholars for the month of September
Academic working plan: Dr. Nichols presented an Academic Working plan that outlines monthly what data will be reviewed. The team agreed to use this plan to discuss the academic working plan for the school year.
Re-Entry Taskforce Update: Dr. Nichols discussed the Re-Entry Taskforce responsibilities and the taskforce member makeup. She also spoke about the upcoming meeting. Taskforce members consist of scholars, staff, parents, board members and community stakeholders.
