Our Public Comment period is for members of the public to address the board. Each member of the public may sign up to comment at the meeting, and will be allotted two minutes. The board will listen, but may not directly respond to any comments. Our meetings are open to the public and public record. As such, if your comment is about a private matter, please contact the board via email, or speak to the board chair privately.
Whereas the two week average continues to go down; 219.3 /100,000 the range is still in the Substantial Spread range. The seven day moving average as of 3/16/21 is 119.4 for the county of Fulton. The Governor of the state of Georgia has prioritized K-12 employees for vaccination as of March 8th, FCS has authorized ‘Project Vaccinate 2021’ during the week of March 22-27 for first dose and April 12-17 for second dose.
The Governing Board intends to resume the F2F learning option with an intended start date of April 19, 2021 pending approval at the March 30, 2021 board meeting. A survey will be sent to all parents to determine the level of participation for the F2F option, aftercare, and the virtual learning option. The survey should present several options including total F2F, hybrid, or virtual and will be sent to parents on Saturday, March 20, 2021 and will close on Thursday, March 25, 2021.
To start a F2F option on April 19, 2021. The virtual learning option will remain for the remainder of the 20/21SY.
