The meeting was called to order at 6:08p.m. by Board President, Jennifer Fine

Public Comment

Our Public Comment period is for members of the public to address the board. Each member of the public may sign up to comment at the meeting, and will be allotted two minutes. The board will listen, but may not directly respond to any comments. Our meetings are open to the public and public record. Approval of Agenda

Discussion of logistics related to COVID-19, to include procedures, recommendations, potential actions and the school calendar.

  • TMSA is and will be monitoring FCS protocol. They are in regular communication with CDC and Fulton County Health Department
  • TMSA will take proactive measure in anticipation of a prolonged closure.
  • Deep cleaning and disinfecting
  • Teacher, admin, student and parent preparedness
  • Distance learning protocols and ensuring students have access to needed technology
  • All teachers will be trained in Google Classrooms. Video will be created and posted as well
  • Teachers will report to school on 3/13 at 8:30 a.m. for distance learning training

There was no notable discussion on the motion.

Amend the March 24, 2020 Teacher Work Day to be a fully operational school day for students and staff.

Motion was unnecessary due to system-wide school facility closure.
