Welcome and Call to Order

The meeting will be called to the order by Dr. Kimberly Walker-Browner.

Approval of Agenda

So that there is agreement between board members on the agenda, and the amount of time spent on the meeting, the board shall vote to approve an agenda for the meeting. To the best of its ability, it will follow that agenda, and allow for the chair to move the board through the agenda as specified.

2023-24 Calendar Update

Timeline of Events -As directed by the board TMSA Administration developed a calendar option B based on considerations submitted by February 10, 2023

-Open voting to parents, teachers, and community during the week of February 13-20, 2023

-Results returned to Governance Committee Chair and Human Resources on February 20, 2023, as requested by the TMSA Board

-Both options will be presented to the board for vote at the February 28, 2023, board meeting

Principal's Report for ASPC

Charter Contract - Areas of Accountability

First Look – School Performance Gap Closure - CCRPI increase College and Career Readiness Performance Index (CCRPI) score each year until they reach 100.

Second Look – School-District Comparisons - Perform better than the district schools to which students would otherwise attend.

Third Look – School-Statewide Comparisons.- Perform better than the similar schools throughout the state.

WIG Update Regarding Attendance

Attendance is currently at 94% of the 96% goal. TMSA is working to hire a new School Social Worker who will team with staff to assist with ensuring that attendance is a priority and following up with families.
