School Leader Report
The school leader reports on the status of the school.
School Leader Report
Dr. Davis reports on the status of the school. Dr. Davis provided the board an update on the growth of students from the beginning of the school year until today based on iReady testing. The school is still looking for a school nurse. The school is currently has 140 students enrolled. The board also discussed with Dr. Davis what research-based curriculum and resources are being used to increase student achievement. The board also discussed extra tutoring time period strategies with Dr. Davis.

Board was presented highlights from the balance sheet.
Academica Update
Updates from the Education Service Provider. Julio Robaina updated the board that yesterday Academica visited with the Director of Safety and Security to provide suggestions to the school. Academica is also working on a ramp up schedule for next school year and marketing plan. Chairman asked about an update about the expansion of site. There will be an update at the next board meeting.

The Superintendent provided updates on the status of the School District.

Updates from the SLAM Foundation. SLAM Foundation is currently working on supporting the school with documentation needed to be submitted for renewal and for CSI.

The school has an upcoming event for students on 2/24 for all grade levels.
