Open with only the option of Face to Face Learning for FY21-FY22

By: Pardes Sulaiman Seconded by: Altrenesha Ervin

We are planning to re-open face to face with masks and proper cleaning protocols in place.  I have seen this work with schools much larger than ours.

@Altrenesha Ervin Do we know if any of our parents are interested in remaining face to face?  Ms. Addison the parents that I have spoken to have not expressed any interest to remain virtual.  @Alex Tamargo, we have 3600 students at my school and we are only allowing for @Karen Womack I think that in the new building we have plenty of space to be able to social distance and not have any problems.  @Keesa Addison We are doing the EIP model and because of that we have smaller class sizes and so our classrooms will not be as crowded.  @Karen Womack I do agree that if we have any special circumstances with students with special health needs that we would accommodate them but other than that we will open with in person learning only.

Academica Update

Facilities: Things are moving a little slower than we had hoped. There are some title issues that we are working through. It looks like they will be settled soon. From a budgetary standpoint, we received all the due diligence and the numbers that were provided before falls inline and we are do to accomplish the goals within the budget. Great news; The future Landlord will provide the playground at their expense.
