Discussion RE: FY25 Budget

Fiscal Updates

$2500 increase in salary base for teachers and increase in state health benefit

No facilities grant for state-chartered school; $100K for local charters

FY26: addition of principal for k-8 per 300 students

$108M for school safety- unclear requirements for distribution 


Quality Basic Education: Funding Calculation

QBE funding is driven by # of students in each instructional program (early intervention, special ed, gifted, etc.)
