Welcome and Call to Order
The meeting will be called to the order AT 7:01 PM.
Approval of Agenda
So that there is agreement between board members on the agenda, and the amount of time spent on the meeting, the board shall vote to approve an agenda for the meeting. To the best of its ability, it will follow that agenda, and allow for the chair to move the board through the agenda as specified.
Motion made to approve the agenda with the modification of the removal of the Approval of Minutes for September and the removals of both November and December financial presentations and approvals.

The school leader reports on the status of the school.
Fundraising goal achieved! $29,200 raise to expand K-4 playground
CCRPI scores were made public in December
CCRPI will no longer do a single score
Content Mastery- RHCS 96.2, State performed at 64.7
ELA- 92.39
Math- 100+
Science- N/A
Progress (Growth in ELA and Math)- RHCS 99.6 State performed 85.8
Progress ELA 99.16, MATH 100 +, Do not have enough ELL scholars
Closing the gap of 100, the State performed 66.7
Readiness (at or above grade level reading, attendance, beyond the core) 94, state performed 82.3

Was this expected? Our program is so intentional
Do interim assessments align- The assessment system is solid. It’s more than the academic structure. We have intentional departments that support and make our school stronger.
RHMA 5th Grade
Content Mastery- 80, state- 64

Closing Gaps must have 2 years of data, we will get a score in 2024
Readiness- 95.2, state- 82
At or above grade level reading- 93.24%
Content mastery may be a result of new to RH scholars in 5th grade- our 5th grade program does not have remediation… Challenge-what do we do when a child enters 5th grade at a 2nd grade level?
Expectation is to increase in content and closing the gaps
Reviewed of other state charter schools content mastery in comparison to RH

Opportunity- Excess operating reserve
Challenge- GA restricts how charter schools can invest
Solution Options- Money Market, Certificate of Deposit, T-Bill
Estimate for investing $2M- 4% APR, $2M 7 Month CD- 4.75% APR, T-bill Short terms
Money market includes 6 monthly complimentary withdrawals and is the most liquid, high yield option
Currently on 1 school leveraging the T-bill option
Treasury Bill- money into US government bond, and at the end of the term the US will pay back the principal and interest,
rates are based on supply and demand
The recommendation is to hold the money market and the CD
Rates are currently 4.9
Money Market- no fees
CDs- no minimum, termination fee
T-Bill- $30/year, 5$ fee for paperwork

FY25 Uniform Change Brown to All-Black Shoe Shift

Proposed Change- Black Shoes
Rationale- Stakeholder feedback re: affordability, easier access, more options in sneakers/athletic style. Aligns with staff dress code. Reduces variability that overtime the brown shoe of any shade option created (lots of accent colors and logos)

Rationale- 1 hour difference between academies burdens sibling families and presents staffing and culture challenges
