Welcome and Call to Order

The meeting will be called to the order at 10:06am.

Approval of Agenda

So that there is agreement between board members on the agenda, and the amount of time spent on the meeting, the board shall vote to approve an agenda for the meeting. To the best of its ability, it will follow that agenda, and allow for the chair to move the board through the agenda as specified.

Motion made to adopt the agenda with the modification of the removal of the financial committee and approvals for both RHCS and RHMA and the removal of the governance committee discussions.

Resurgence Hall Charter School: Review academic dashboard, which includes schoolwide enrollment, attendance averages, demographic data, RHCS entry year, attrition rate and reason for both students and staff, school climate indicators, parent engagement indicators, and staff engagement indicators. Enrollment FY24.

Resurgence Hall Middle Academy: Review academic dashboard, which includes schoolwide enrollment, attendance averages, demographic data, RHMA entry year, attrition rate and reason for both students and staff, school climate indicators, parent engagement indicators, and staff engagement indicators. Enrollment FY24.

  • Enrollment 160 (6th grade enrollment is currently low)


Attrition - includes no-shows, families who do not attend the first day of school

Are any new things happening as a result of the milestones- A lot of focus in developing enrichment for Primary… Middle

Academy is in a startup mode where we can expect the most changes overall including culture.

Added a sports leagues and music enrichment course for FY24

Discussion RE: American Rescue Plan

3rd infusion of COVID funding- opportunity every 6 months for all stakeholders to engage in a review of the plan.

  • Priority - Learning acceleration for both reading and math
  • 100% of funds to address learning loss- learning platforms, purchasing curricular and assessment materials, decreased class sizes and increasing staff
  • professional development for teachers and leaders
  •  $700,000 Funding expires next year

Piloting teachers- stipend role for a CRT to also be a coach and has a full-time associate teacher

  • Hopeful it is the trajectory to a full-time coordinator role
