The committee considered 6 motions, of which 6 passed, and 0 failed:

1. Motion made to approve the agenda as written. (passed)
2. Motion made to approve the minutes with the following modifications to the Executive Session; Nelmaris Alvarez made a motion to enter into Executive Session at 7:30 in accordance with GA Code § 50-14-3, meeting to discuss, and deliberate upon the employment and compensation of an employee. Khaliff Davis seconded the motion. The Board voted unanimously in favor of the motion. The Executive Session of the board of The Resurgence Hall School meeting was closed at 8:00 pm and Board Chair, Paula Murphy declared the Board “open” pursuant to the Open Meetings Act, GA Code. §§ 50-14-1 et seq. No votes were taken in Executive Session. Natasha motioned for the board to exit Executive Session and Nelmaris seconded the motion at 8:00 pm. (passed)
3. Motion made to adopt the financials and all supporting documents for June and FY22 as presented in the Committee of Whole meeting. (passed)
4. Motion made and approved to adopt the modification to the Volunteer Policy. (passed)
5. Motion made to call to order the Board meeting at 8:01 pm. (passed)

6. Motion made to end the August board meeting at 8:42 pm. (passed)
