Updates from School Leader

  • CCRPI Score: 80.9...waiting to see when all schools are released for comparison
  • Will be sharing mid year data with Walton Foundation
  • In the middle of universal speech screen for all K, new 1st graders and 7th graders.
  • 3 incoming K with IEPs, all speech exceptionality
  • FTE 7 special education students (5 speech, 1 SLD; 1 OHI - emotional)
  • Brainstorming how to provide extra support to scholars not meeting promotion criteria. (Saturday school, contracting Sylvan Learning...)


Review of School Dashboard

  • At 183 students on count day. This is above what was expected and budgeted (175).
  • 100% attendance for parent conference for  for Q1 report card.
  • Attendance as of 10/15 is 95%  being present and on time which is close to on track for FY19 goal of 98% being present and on time
  • As of 10/15 we have 35 application submitted. (FY19 goal is to have 300 prior to March)
  • K & 1st math interim is based on end of year standards ( taught and not taught standards (K - 15% proficient or above level; 1st 8% proficient or above level). FY19 goal is 90% of Scholars at 85% or above on all MATH IAs
  • K (reading)- close to on track for FY19 goal of 100% of scholars above Step 3 on Map and 75% at STEP 6 or above (68% proficient or above on Sept. assessment)
  • 1st (reading)- FY19 goal is 100% of Scholars will be at or above a STEP 6 (base) 75% of Scholars will be at a STEP 9 or above (reach). September STEP assessment shows 68% proficient or above.
  • 7th (math) FY19 goal:100% of Scholars are at Proficient Learner and Above 2019 MATH EOG Milestones( Sept. Math IA shows 40% proficient and above level; however as of 10/22 87% showing proficiency on exit tickets) August 30th milestone projections (NWEA MAP) show 52% are proficient and distinguished.
  • 7th (reading) FY19 goal: 100% of Scholars are at Proficient Learner and Above 2019 ELA EOG Milestones. Sept. 30th milestone projections have 54% proficient and distinguished. As of 10/15 exit assessments have 76% proficient.
