Call to Order

Board Members Confidentiality and Conflict of Interest Statements

All Board members need to sign statements of confidentiality and conflict of interest. This will be done at the next Board meeting. Suzette will bring copies for everyone to sign.

Board Summer Retreat 2018

The retreat will be June 23rd. This is a day long conference. Elisa from GOSA will conduct the morning session on Board Governance. The afternoon will be dedicated to Strategic Plan review and update, SWOT exercise and committee goals.

Roberta will ask if we can use a room at Peace Baptist Church on Covington Hwy.

Other Governance Committee Business

A very successful Annual Board Walk-through was conducted May 18, 2018. We began at 8:00 a.m. Each classroom was visited. We then held a sit down session with the school leaders. This was very informative. A full report will be kept on file.
