Welcome and Call to Order

Buget Presentation
The purpose of this meeting is to present updates to the budget to educate the board about proposed changes to the proposed budget for FY 21/22.
Information presented by Ms. Wright:
Trends in DPA funding ( approximate figures)
FY14- $ 2.8 million
FY15- $3.5 million
FY16- $3.6 million
FY17- $4.5 million
FY18- $5.3 million
FY19- $6.3 million
FY20- $6.7 million
For fiscal year 2020 the original per pupil funding was $12,249. The funding has currently changed to $9,636.57 per pupil.
QBE 2021- the per month A/R was $437,754.88 per month. Beginning in April through June, the funding is $425,701 per month.
As of today, the total student enrollment for next school year is 577. Twenty five additional students are needed to enroll for DPA to be at full enrollment of 20 students per class for all grades. This will be the number until the FTE count in October. There will be a second FTE county by DCSD next March.
As of July 1, DCSD will fund based on 577 students until the FTE count in October. DPA will then need to make an amended budget if the enrollment changes.
On average, DPA attrition rate is 1-1.5% during the school year.
