One of the three pieces of information relates to input from stakeholders. The leadership team will create a survey of stakeholders. Board members and leadership will generate 1-2 questions for the survey and send to Ms. Watkins by noon on April 1.

The week of April 5 board and school leaders will me to discuss the survey questions. The survey will be sent to stakeholders on April 15. It is to be returned by April 30.

2. 18 Week Assessment

School leadership is being asked to incorporate pre and post unit test data from spring of 2020 (at the start of virtual learning due to pandemic) into the 18-week assessment.

3. HOS Search Committee

The search committee will include Kelli Peterson, Laura Crawley, and a DPA parent.

On March 29, students in grades K-8 will return to in-person instruction. Based on Intent to Return information received from parents, approximately 250 students will return to school for in-person instruction.

Ms. Pettis shared the head of school report. Dekalb Co. will begin the Milestones testing on April 20. Parents may opt out of testing. For students who don't take the Milestones, DPA will communicate to parents in writing an explanation of their child's academic standing and recommendations for improvements.

The board retreat will take place in June. The board will hold elections in May. A presenter will be hired to provide board training.

8. Any Other Business

Finance report presented by Ms.Wright. Per the report from Ms.Wright:

DPA has $4.5 million cash on hand

There is 6 months of cash on hand available for school needs.

debt to asset ratio is 76%

Basic revenue is based on student enrollment. An estimate of 3% of students do not return.

School leadership may survey parents to ask if they'd like an option for virtual learning for the 2021-22 school year.

There would need to be data to support a hybrid model for 2021-22SY. A hybrid model is not part of the DPA charter. There would need to be an amendment to the charter for a hybrid option.

Webcams have been ordered for all teachers.

For the academic committee, Ms. Strickland presented information on MAP testing. The report defined and explained the MAP test. The report provided MAP test results for students and offered a correlation between DPA MAP data and Milestones.
