Welcome and Call to Order

The meeting will be called to the order by Suzette Arnold at 3:26 p.m. This is a public meeting held for the purpose of conducting business of DPA.

Approval of Agenda

So that there is agreement between board members on the agenda, and the amount of time spent on the meeting, the board shall vote to approve an agenda for the meeting. To the best of its ability, it will follow that agenda, and allow for the chair to move the board through the agenda as specified.

Executive Session

Education Planners Report - James Wilson and Michael Gray. A written detailed report will be submitted to the Board Chair and attorney.

Board Discussion -

Allegations were not founded. Attorney will write a letter to Ms. Clark with the findings.

Adjourn to Executive session at 3:30 p.m.

Targeted HR Discussion

HR Discussion - Ms. Clark addressed the Board at 5:15 p.m.

Next Steps - Mr. Fortson will write Ms. Clark a letter outlining the findings. We will pay Ms. Clark the money the she is due on the 2018-2019 school year contract.

Any Other Business - 2 special eduction teachers and 1 7th grade ELA teacher is needed to be hired to complete staffing.


Motion to hire Lamie Jimmeh as 7th grade ELA teacher for 2019-2020 school year. Salary not to exceed $60,000.
