Welcome and Call to Order

The meeting was called to order by Roberta Walker at 1:02 p.m.

HOS/Principal's Report

Personnel - Interviews are ongoing. New hires to be presented to the board are:

Eric Turner - Special education teacher

Jamal Midgette - Special education teacher

Ashaleigh Ramanand - Instructional Coach

Lillian Wright - front office clerk

Open positions include 1 science teacher and an elementary principal.

New teacher orientation is Monday, July 21, and Thursday, July 24, 2025.

Enrollment - 585 students; waitlist in first, second, sixth and eight grades

Special Education - speech compensatory time has been given during the summer. 7 students took advantage of the offer. Letters signed by parents who opted not to have their children participate. With the addition of the new teachers we will be ready on day 1 to begin servicing our PEC students.

Back-to-school Bash will be held July 26, from 12 until 3:00 p.m.

Coaches Corner

Master scheduling is complete, we are adding students are they are enrolled. We are getting ready for the first round of MAP testing .
