Welcome and Call to Order
The meeting was called to order by Roberta Walker at 10:00 a.m.
Principals' /HOS Report
Human Resources Update - positions unfilled AVC teacher, Paraprofessional, Speech teacher. A proposal is on the table for a virtual teacher at a cost of $15 per hour. Merritt, Brown, Owens
Testing Update - Spring Map underway. Data to be used to identify areas that individual students need additional support before we begin GMAS testing. GMAS testing begins May 1st. The internet still has some issues that are being addressed. Guyton, Johnson, Brown, Owens
Enrollment - 500 students Brown, Owens
Special Education - Solomon
Progress Monitoring - on going and being monitored and reviewed weekly by administrators.
Enrollment - 41 16 are speech only
IPE Updates - 100% of IEP's are up-to-date
MTSS -Johnson
Progress Monitoring - on-going. Using Easy CBM
Enrollment - 63 students in Tier II and III. 9 students are in process of being referred to PEC
Coaches Corner
Updates - West
Coaches are training teachers on new ELA standards. Science of Reading training is being scheduled.
PLC's -
Other Academic Business - Calendar for 2025-26
the committee recommends following the DCSD calendar. Merritt, Brown and Owens will prepare presentation for the board meeting.
