Welcome and Call to Order
The meeting was called to order by Roberta Walker at 10:05 a.m.
HOS and Principal's Report
Human Resources update - several candidates were presented. Documentation was not given so the chair asked that we schedule a special called meeting for Friday, November 15, 2024.
Resume and interview score rubric and reference checks were not presented.
Testing update
MAP and Gifted testing update - there were issued with the internet. The testing schedule was modified so that all grade levels would not be on at the same time. Operations is planning to present information to the board that will allow DPA to upgrade to the fiber network.
Enrollment
Updated enrollment report from infinite campus - 542 students are enrolled
Special Education Enrollment and presentation of “Big Picture”
- Current special education enrollment by grade level - 44 students are being served across grade levels. All IEP meetings have bee schduled through January. There is an issue getting all meeting complete due to scheduling conflicts with DeKalb LTSE, and sometimes parents. Dr. Solomon is working on a solution.

Special Education progress monitoring
- Please demonstrate for the committee all progress monitoring documentation required within IC - Administrators have been assigned to monitor and assist with progress monitoring.
- All special education progress monitoring is currently loaded and accurate in infinite campus by grade level in pdf format shared with committee. Some teachers are still being challenged.
MTSS enrollment and progress monitoring -
- Current MTSS enrollment by Tier - 57 students in Tier II and III; 4 speech students.
- MTSS progress monitoring currently loaded and accurate in infinite campus for elementary grade levels. Middle school teachers will be retrained by November 15th. 100% is the only acceptable answer.

- DeKalb Assessment Calendar -
- DPA Assessment Calendar - gifted testing is ongoing. Currently in the MAP testing. There were internet problems on the first day.
PLC
- Overview - Ms. Henderson has completed all modules. 3rd and 4th grade teachers are receiving instruction from Ms. Guyton.
