Welcome and Call to Order

The meeting was called to order at 10:00 a.m. by Roberta Walker.

Professional Learning

New teachers will report on July 23rd, for orientation. All faculty report on July 24th. The week will be filled with professional learning and preparation for the opening of school on July 29th.

HOS/Principal's Report

Personnel Recommendations - interviews are ongoing. The following candidates will be recommended for hire:

Teachers:

Jade Edwards, Amber Scott, Victoria Peart-Murray, Larry Key, Christina Carpenter, Kimie Clay, LaShondra White, Attania Jean-Funny,Cicely Jones, Kamora Payne, Alexis Squires, Aundell Williams, and Blair Williams.

Chenessa Colson- Revere - paraprofessional

The academic committee will request an emergency meeting of the Board for approval of these persons to be hired so that the teachers will be in place by the beginning of the school year.


Still to be hired : Special Education coordinator and instructional coaches.

Core Subjects

AVC/ Technology - we will roll out the e games after school club this school year.

Exceptional Education - seeking a coordinator
