Welcome and Call to Order

The meeting was called to order by Roberta Walker at 10 am.

HOS/ Principals Reports

Personnel - Our contract has been accepted by DeKalb, 3 years renewal with 1 year probation. Probation corrective action plan has been submitted and approved by DCSD Dr. Bostic informed the committee of the plan and the charge for the committee moving forward. Emphasis is on staff attrition and increase # the number of certified staff.

New courses may be added to our curriculum for next school year to give our middle school students more opportunities for higher level classes.

Data Dashboard - Dr. Merritt discussed Lennections platform and the CCRPI

Core Subjects - begin the process of identifying resources needed for the 24-25 school year. The budget season has begun.

MTSS - Dr. Solomon reported that 100% of tier 2 and 3 students data has been uploaded to the system.

Exceptional Ed - 48 students currently being served

AVC/Technology - We have begun an E gaming club

Coaches Corner

Math - MIlestone testing will be April 17 - 29, 2024 for 3 - 8th grade students. There is concern that we do not have 1 to 1 computers. This poses difficulty for the testing environment in the building.

ELA - Science of Reading is the new curriculum coming down from the state.

Gifted

Professional Learning - February 16 and March 8 will be training on Lennections. Will work with ELA teachers,.
