Report of the CEO, Troave' Profice

Troave' Profice presented her report for the month of March 


Highlights included: 


Student Enrollment - 771 

Bricolage is committed to equity in inclusion 

Teaching and Learning 

In-Person learning - 65% 

Virtual Learners - 35% 

Thanked Keione Bastian - Data Director for implementing a Parent Portal 

Summer Learning in progress 

Staff Covid-19 Vaccines - available to all faculty and staff 

A slide of staffing data was presented 

All returning team members will receive a 3yr agreement 

Culture and Engagement report 



Report of the Finance Committee, Merritt Lane

Merritt Lane gave a brief report on the Bricolage Finances through March 2021. 


Expenses in technology and PPE are higher than expected 

Revenues exceeded expectations 

Forecast showing 110K ahead of forecast 

54K more in High-Cost Services 

52K more in Strong Start 

Transportation and Foodservice costs are down 

Salaries and Temporary staffing generally offset 

PPP Loan has been submitted to the SBA for forgiveness. We expect 100% forgiveness. 



Report of the Strategic Planning Committee, Norman Barnum

Norman Barnum presented an update on the Strategic Plan. 


Started the Strategic Plan in January 2021


Strengths: 

Academic performance is solid, particularly in ELA. 

Staff is committed to the mission of Bricolage Academy 


Areas of Growth: 

Growing pains on systems: Communications 

We've lost a bit of our Innovation focus, though Equity is high. 

Special Education systems need improvement though teachers are excellent. 


Next Steps:

Implementation Plan 

Mid - June 2020, expect to be acting on the Strategic Plan Process. 


*Arnel Cosey asked Mr. Barnum to elaborate on the loss of Innovation. 

Mr. Barnum communicated that the school needed to keep pushing from a small school way of operating to the larger school that we are today.
