Members of the public are invited to sign up to speak for up to two minutes and are required to keep their comments limited and relevant to the agenda item the board is voting on. Our meetings are open to the public and public record.

Board Chair Report, Yvette Jones

Yvette Jones gave the Board a report on:

  • Review the City Wide Calendar from NOLA PS. There was no motion needed to support this calendar.
  • Yvette welcomed Troave' Profice, new CEO, to her first Bricolage Board Meeting.
  • Yvette will be working in partnership with Carolyn and the Bricolage team to onboard Troave' and schedule meet and greets with all constituency groups.
  • Additional Board meeting date set for 3/26 at 4:00 p.m. at Bricolage to provide Troave' with the opportunity to report to the Board of Directors in her first month.
  • Board Meeting dates for the remainder of the calendar year were set: 3/26, 4/30, 6/2, 9/9, 10/28 and 12/9. Times are listed on the Bricolage website and board portal.


CEO Report, Carolyn Louden

Carolyn Louden gave the Board a report on:

  • Special Education
  • Middle School Model
  • Expansion Planning
  • Tier 1 Curriculum Implementation

Finance Report, Carolyn Louden

Carolyn Louden gave the Board a report on the 2020 Financial projections as of November 2019, the projected balance sheet and inflection points for FY 2020.

  • Norman Barnum would like the minutes to reflect a compliment to Lauren Orgeron, CFO of Bricolage, for her outstanding report.

Auditors Presentation, LaPorte CPA

  • Anthony Rutledge reviewed 2019 Audit with the Board.

The Meeting was Adjourned
