Tamseel Syed

Tamseel M. Syed is an Engineer and Researcher in the field of Wireless Communications and Signal Processing for Communications under the Electrical Engineering discipline. He completed his Bachelor’s of Engineering in India from Osmania University in 2010. He went on to complete his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from University of Akron in 2013. Immediately after MS, he joined Coca Cola Company as a Mobility Solutions Intern and the joining Tektronix Communication (now NetScout) as an RF Engineer.

He also completed his MBA from DeVry University’s Keller School of Management in 2018 and currently pursuing his PhD in Electrical Engineering from University of Alabama in Huntsville. His research interests are current trends in wireless communications, 5G communication, non-linear signal processing for communications, cooperative and peer-to-peer communications, Error Correction Theory, Information Theory, etc. He is a Board Member for DPA Charter School Board. He also serves as Chair for Young Professionals Group and Communications Society Chapter in IEEE Atlanta. He also is an IEEE Region 3 representative to IEEE-HAC Communication Committee.
