LaKrista Jordan

LaKrista is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. Her desire for learning started in a strong foundation with local and inspired educators. She attended grades K-12 in the Atlanta Public School system. She is also a graduate of Georgia Tech and Georgia State University where she received her Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and her MBA respectively.  That background has been applied to more than 20 years in the telecommunications industry at AT&T.  At AT&T, LaKrista leads product development of new services in Voice Calling & Messaging Applications.  LaKrista's passion for service and education has been an important cornerstone not just for herself but also in finding ways to advocate for others. At the Community Consulting Team, she provided pro-bono business consulting to help non-profits solve their most pressing strategic planning needs.  She continues to serve her community through leadership at Centennial Academy as Board Secretary, and she advocates for Centennial Academy as Parent Rep & Secretary with The Council of Intown Neighborhoods and Schools.  She is also a member of Buckhead Church and Junior League of Atlanta.   As family goes, LaKrista lives in Atlanta with her husband Ted and their daughter, who is a Centennial Academy Hero. They enjoy traveling, camping and hiking whenever they are not participating in extracurriculars around town.
